Overview

A plateau of untested upside.

Nassau sits on the same Guiana greenstone belt as Sela Creek, less than 10 km south of Newmont's producing Merian mine and along regional strike of Zijin's Rosebel mine. Alluvial gold mining rings a central plateau — the classic Guiana signature of a bedrock source feeding the drainages.

Artisanal workings are moving up-slope from placer into weathered bedrock, with ample high-grade quartz vein sets exposed at surface. Three high-priority targets were established by previous operators — the same orogenic system and the same district-scale question as Sela Creek, still ahead of the drill bit.

Surface sampling

High grades at surface.

A 3 km long NW-trending geophysical anomaly is interpreted as the bedrock source feeding the placer deposits that ring the plateau — with high-grade quartz veins already assaying to 27.96 g/t Au at surface.

Location & access

In the heart of the gold belt.

01

~125 km southeast of Paramaribo and ~100 km north of the Sela Creek project.

02

Accessible by logging road — only a few hours by truck from the capital.

03

Less than 10 km south of Newmont's Merian mine, on regional strike of Zijin's Rosebel mine.

The option

A clear path to 100%.

Miata holds a 70% beneficial interest in Nassau and, in June 2025, signed an option to acquire the remaining 30% and move to full ownership. As operator, Miata directs all exploration on the property.
